It is recommended that massages commence straight after surgery once it is safe to do so.

A massage session typically lasts for about 50 minutes. Our nurse-led clinic emphasizes personalized care, ensuring that each client receives a massage tailored to their specific needs and preferences. This comprehensive session allows our experienced professionals to focus on your wellness and relaxation, delivering an optimal experience in the comfort of your own home or mine.

The number of lymphatic massages recommended can vary depending on individual needs and the type of surgery. In general, a series of sessions, often ranging from 6 to 12, may be suggested to achieve optimal results. Having 2-3 massages pre week initially will help achieve maximum results

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage technique that helps to stimulate the lymphatic system, reduce swelling, and promote healing. It is crucial post-op as it aids in reducing inflammation, preventing fluid buildup, and enhancing the body's natural detoxification process, leading to faster recovery.

Our lymphatic drainage massage is designed to be both effective and gentle. This type of massage is generally not painful. It involves light, rhythmic strokes that aim to stimulate the body’s lymphatic system, helping reduce swelling, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness. As a nurse-led clinic, our trained professionals ensure that the technique is performed with precision and care, tailored to your comfort level. Some clients may experience mild discomfort due to existing tension or swelling especially if post op but overall, the process is intended soothing and ease any pain from swelling. If you have any concerns or specific sensitivities, please discuss them with our specialist prior to the session.
